Kasia Wozniak

Biography

Kasia Wozniak is a Polish photographer and visual artist based in London. Her practice is rooted in an exploration of memory, time, and the materiality of the photographic image, with a particular focus on historical processes such as wet plate collodion. Through this analog approach, she challenges conventional notions of photographic truth and investigates the tactile, temporal qualities of the medium.

Wozniak holds an MA in Fashion Photography from the University of the Arts London (2013), where she was awarded the Harold Tillman Scholarship. From 2022 to 2024, she was an artist-in-residence at the Sarabande Foundation, established by the late designer Lee Alexander McQueen.

Her work has been exhibited at leading institutions including the National Portrait Gallery, Museum of London, Somerset House, and Saatchi Gallery. She has shared her insights into photography through talks and panel discussions at events such as the London Art Fair, University of the Arts London, the International Photography Festival in Wales, and the Art and Fashion Forum in Poland.
