Anne Carney Raines is a painter from Nashville, Tennessee, currently living and working in South London. Her practice explores themes of theatre, space, and memory, informed by her background in scenic painting and fabrication.

She completed her MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art in 2021 and is a two-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant.  

Her recent exhibitions include Inside/Outside at Soho Revue, London (2024), Drawing Biennial 2024 at Drawing Room, London (2024), Mi Basta Uno Scorcio at Rubedo Arts, Milan (2024), and Hopscotch at Soho Revue, London (2023).
