Charlie Gosling

Charlie Gosling is a London-based artist whose practice focuses on portraiture, exploring how a subject’s peculiarities can act as windows into their inner world. Born and raised in Hackney, he graduated Fine Art at Camberwell College of Arts in 2023.

Painting the skew of a tie with the same devotion as the lips of a loved one, Gosling’s work reflects a sustained interest in capturing the quirks of his subjects—creating portraits that are lighthearted in style yet strikingly ambitious in their intent.
